Milwaukee, Wis. - Tvesa Vathulya of Illinois Tech Women's Soccer earned Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Student-Athlete of the Week honors for Women's Soccer - Offensive Player, for her performance for the Scarlet Hawks this past week.

Vathulya, a first-year forward and Psychological Science major from Saratoga, California, helped the Scarlet Hawks to two more conference wins last week, defeating Dominican and MSOE, respectively. Vathulya found the back of the net in both contests, scoring a goal at Dominican on Wednesday in the 54th minute of play, and then in the Hawks match against previously conference-unbeaten MSOE on Saturday, her goal against the Raiders was the only tally of the match, scoring the game winning goal in the 86th minute of play. The win allowed the Scarlet Hawks to remain perfect in conference play at 10-0-0, and put the Hawks one step closer to clinching first-place overall.
