MILWAUKEE, Wis. – Illinois Tech men's basketball has received its first Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Player of the Week honor, as Jake Digiorgio was named the league's recipient on Tuesday morning. The award is for action from November 19-25.

Digiorgio, who ranks second in all of NCAA Division III with 15.0 rebounds per game, has recorded a double-double in all of Illinois Tech's four games this season. Over the three-game stretch of the award, the senior averaged 15.7 points and 14.7 rebounds, shooting 57.1% (20-of-35) from the field. The native of the upper peninsula of Michigan had a 19-point, 17-rebound effort on 9-of-13 shooting in just 25 minutes of action on Wednesday in a 79-43 win at Knox. He followed the monster game up with two more over the weekend: posting 13 points and 13 boards in a 70-68 loss against Carthage and 15 points and 14 rebounds in 64-59 win over Carroll.

The Scarlet Hawks (2-2, 0-0 NACC) will open NACC play on Wednesday night, traveling to Benedictine University to take on the Eagles (0-3, 0-1 NACC).
