Prior to Illinois Tech, Brady was the head women’s lacrosse coach at Robert Morris University-Chicago, where she was tasked with rebuilding the women's lacrosse program from scratch, handling all coaching and recruiting duties. Stints as an Assistant Coach at Elmhurst College and Davenport University led her to RMU. At Elmhurst, Brady wore a variety of hats, having responsibilities in game planning, recruiting, player development, strength and conditioning, and team operations. As the defensive coordinator for Davenport in 2015, the team won 16 games and proved to be one of NAIA's top teams, reaching the MWLL Championship game. Brady has also served as Head Coach at two Chicagoland area high schools (Barrington and Fenwick) and for the American Youth Lacrosse Association.

As a student-athlete, Brady played lacrosse at Robert Morris University-Chicago and was very successful during her collegiate career.  She was named the NAIA Rookie of the Year in 2012, achieved First Team All-Conference and All-American awards in 2012 and 2013, and won a National Championship in 2014, where she was named the National Tournament MVP.

In addition, Brady has a background in physical education, marketing, retail, and the food industry. Brady graduated from Robert Morris University in Chicago with an Associates degree in Culinary Arts in 2014.  She received her Bachelor’s in Business Management from RMU in 2017.
