Chicago, IL – Illinois Tech volleyball was back in action Thursday night and despite the win in set three, was not able to get the win. The Hawks fall 3-1 to Roosevelt University (14-25, 17-25, 25-22 and 28-30).
Junior Taylor Duman led with 14 kills while senior Kate Kendall collected 11 kills of her own. Seniors Rebecca Wilson and Roma Mirutenko chipped in nine and eight kills respectively. Libero Brittany Mead registered a team high 21 digs whileShea Manley rounded out the scoring with 17 digs of her own along with five kills.
The Hawks are now 8-12 on the season and next up is Saint Xavier University on the road Thursday, October 10th at 7:00 pm.
