Chicago, IL – Illinois Tech women's basketball hosted Northeastern Illinois University for a Saturday afternoon game.  The Scarlet Hawks shined en route to an 82-29 win, their first of the season. 

Scoring a team-high 21 points and adding 9 rebounds was sophomoreAdrianna Maron.  Senior Lauren Capuano scored 17 points and grabbed 14 rebounds as the Hawks got a much needed confidence booster with the win. Gertrude Kasole and Michelle Arriola tallied 12 and 11 points, respectively.

The Scarlet Hawks improve to 1-3 on the year.
