Chicago, IL – Illinois Tech got a great performance from Adrianna Maron in women's basketball action on Sunday afternoon but the Scarlet Hawks were not able to secure the victory.  The visiting Vikings recorded their third victory of the season with a 95-66 score line.

Maron led all scorers with 30 points draining a couple of 3-point shots along with making 70 percent of her free throws.  Lauren Capuano grabbed a game-high 16 rebounds.  The Hawks kept the game tight early on exchanging leads with the Vikings in the first half.  The injury report was long for the Hawks entering the game and this proved to catch up with them as they could not continue to keep this game close enough.

The Hawks fall to 1-13 on the year.
