Chicago, IL-  The Scarlet Hawks men's Basketball team was back home again to take on Rose-Hulman on Saturday.  The Hawks are still searching for their first victory of the season but couldn't manage make it happen in this one. 

The first half started with both teams exchanging baskets but as the half progresses Rose-Hulman continuously built a lead on the Scarlet Hawks. The Hawks did not have much of an answer for Rose-Hulman's offense, allowing 47 points in the first half. At the end of the first half Rose-Hulman led 47-24.

RHIT outscored the Hawks 26-18 in the second half but their dominance in the first half proved too much for the home team, resulting in a 73-42 loss.  Samuel Rarick once again led the Scarlet Hawks with 22 points while both Manish Suthar and Anders Bybjerg contributed with 5 points each.
