How It Happened
- The Scarlet Hawks opened the scoring at 10:15 when Chismarich was awarded a penalty kick when she was taken down from behind while she rushed down the left side towards goal. Chismarich converted on the kick for her 14th goal of the season.
- Just over a minute later, the Scarlet Hawks scored again. Chismarich received a pass at the bottom of the circle inside the Warhawks' zone and raced forward several strides before placing a through ball to her right to Hannah Ramos. Ramos retrieved the ball 10 yards out from the back line and angled towards the goal to her left, passing to the top of the goal box to Narvarte. Narvarte made a one-touch back heel pass to Kayla Smith behind her to her left, and Smith converted for her 4th goal of the season.
- The Hawks increased their lead to 3-0 at 18:40 when Narvarte tracked down a loose ball near the left sideline and strode towards goal. With a defender closing in, Narvarte passed to Chismarich to her right at the top of the penalty area. Chismarich spun around and dribbled to her right towards the center of the penalty line before blasting a shot over the hands of Warriors' goalkeeper Kara Smith for her 15th goal of the season.
- Two minutes later Chismarich helped extend the Hawks lead to 4-0 when she gathered a loose ball right of goal and fired a shot that Warriors' goalkeeper made the initial save. The rebound kicked out to Narvarte who fired a left-footer into the lower left corner.
- Illinois Tech opened up a 5-0 lead seven minutes into the second half when Amelia Moseman high shot from the top of the arc sailed over Smith and into the net for her 7th goal of the year.
- The Scarlet Hawks closed out the scoring at 6-0 when Kayla Thomas shot a ball into the goal mouth that was headed straight up by Joanne Porter and landing just inside the goal line for her 3rd goal of the season.
