Chicago, Ill. - With the first half of the season schedule nearing a close, the Illinois Tech swimming and diving team hosted Carroll University for a dual meet Saturday at Ekco Pool. When the final lap was swam, the Scarlet Hawks came away with a pair of victories against the Pioneers.
On the women's side, the Scarlet Hawks defeated the Pioneers 102 - 93, with 7 first-place finishes, 5 second-place finishes and 3 third-place finishes.
The men's team came away with a 144.5 - 42.5 win over Carroll, garnering 10 first-place finishes, 10 second-place finishes and 8 third-place finishes over the 13 men's events, including sweeping top-three finishes in 8 events.
