Chicago, Ill. - In one final meet before the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Indoor Championships, the Illinois Tech Indoor Track & Field team traveled down to 55th street to take part in the Margaret Bradley Invitational hosted by the University of Chicago. 

At the conclusion of the meet, the women's side finished in 2nd in team rankings, while the men's team finished in 8th. 

Scarlet Hawk Men's Highlights

• Finnick Poulin ran the 60m hurdles in a time of 11.19, ranking him 3rd all-time

• Ibrahim Lamidi ran the 60m hurdles in a time of 11.24, ranking him 4th all-time

• The distance medley relay team of John McCullough, Julius Wardlow, Zach Barisa, and Joey Loriso finished in a time of 10:49.86, ranking them 3rd all-time

• Poulin jumped a distance of 11.45 in triple jump, ranking him 4th all-time

• Isaiah John threw a distance of 11.22m in weight throw, ranking him 5th all-time

• In the 60m dash, Wardlow finished in second place with a time of 7.06

Scarlet Hawk Women's Highlights

• Sophia Arntz ran the 60m dash in a time of 8.52m, ranking her 7th all-time

• Alex Peifer jumped a height of 1.37m, ranking her 8th all-time

• Amelia Moseman jumped a distance of 4.93m in long jump, ranking her 3rd all-time

• Annika McKown jumped a distance of 4.79m in long jump, ranking her 5th all-time

• Bella Ortiz jumped a distance of 9.44m in triple jump, ranking her 3rd all-time

• Alex Peifer threw a distance of 7.64m in shot put, ranking her 10th all-time

• Olivia McMath threw a distance of 9.94m in weight throw, ranking her 3rd all-time. 

• In the 400m dash, Moseman finished in first palace with a time of 59.96

• In high jump, Olivia Jameson finished in first place with a height of 1.62m

• In high jump, Annika McKown finished in a tie for third place with a height of 1.52m

• In long jump, Jameson finished in second place with a distance of 5.12m

"As we conclude the "regular season" for indoors, we are very pleased with the growth of our team in everyone's respective events. We look forward to showcasing all of that growth at the conference championships and taking that momentum into our outdoor season."

"Last meet tuneup before conference. This meet fine tuned what we have been working on all season. We saw some glimpses of greatness and are expecting some excellent performances when it counts next week at the NACC meet!"

The Hawks will be competing in the NACC Indoor Championships on Friday, February 23 and Saturday, February 24 up in Stevens Point, Wis. The meet will be taking place inside the Skyward Fieldhouse on the campus of University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
