Ripon, Wis. - The Illinois Tech women's volleyball team got their 2024 season started in strong fashion, sweeping their Saturday match-ups against Mount Mary and host Ripon College at the Ripon College Classic Saturday in Wisconsin. With the Friday split against Luther College and Martin Luther College, the Scarlet Hawks return for America's Dairyland with a 3-1 record.

Grace Reckamp and Karla Trautmann Mendez were both named to the Ripon College Classic All-Tournament team. Reckamp finished with a team-leading 39 kills to go along with a 2.60 kills per set average. She also had 54 assists, 7 service aces, 41 digs and 3.17 points per set. Trautmann Mendez had 29 kills, 2.23 kills per set, 7 service aces, 18 digs, 4 block assists and averaged 2.92 points per set.

• Grace Reckamp with 19 kills, 3.17 kills per set, 23 assists, 4 service aces, 18 digs and 4.00 points per set
