River Forest, Ill. — Men's Soccer (7-5-3, 4-3-2) and Dominican University (IL) (4-7-3, 4-3-1) played to a 1-1 draw on Wednesday afternoon, with both teams scoring their lone goal in the second half.
The match between Illinois Tech and Dominican began with both teams demonstrating solid defensive efforts, resulting in a scoreless first half. The Scarlet Hawks' offense was active with
Paul Balea and
Mateo Secaira each taking shots, although neither found the back of the net. Secaira's attempt in the 40th minute was a notable opportunity.
