Greenwood, Ind. - Graduate student Kelly Hitchcock, seniors Gabriella Baltes, Allison Murray and Kayla Smith, and sophomore Hannah Ramos of Illinois Tech women's soccer were all named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) 2025 Women's Soccer Academic All-District® Team for NCAA Division III.
The 2025 Academic All-District® Women's Soccer Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom.
To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a sophomore or higher in class level, carry a minimum 3.50 cumulative grade point average (out of a scale of 4), and must compete in 90 percent of the institution's matches played OR must start in at least 66 percent of the institution's matches.
The six Illinois Tech women's soccer players were among only 51 other women's soccer players from the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) to earn Academic All-District® honors.
In addition to their Academic All-District® honors, Baltes, Hitchcock and Smith were also named as a finalists for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Academic All-American is a title reserved for college student-athletes who perform at an elite level in their chosen sport and in the classroom. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees for women's soccer will be announced December 16th, 2025.
