Kansas City, Mo. - Mateo Secaira and Tomas Rebelatto of Illinois Tech men's soccer earned post-season honors on December 2nd when they were named as United Soccer Coaches All-Region VIII selections for the 2025 NCAA Division III Men's Soccer season.

Secaira, a first-year forward, was named a first-team All-Region VIII selection, while Rebelatto, a junior forward, was named a fourth-team All-Region VIII selection.

Secaira, a Mechanical Engineering major from San José, Costa Rica, was the team-leader and conference leader in both goals scored with 18 and in points with 41. Secaira had 68 shots, with 36 on goal, for a .529 shots on goal percentage, in 1459 minutes played. He also tied for second in the NACC in game-winning goals with 5. Secaira was named a first-team all-conference selection, and was named the NACC Freshman of the Year.

Rebelatto, a Computer Science major from Gaithersburg, Maryland, was tied for second on the team in scoring with 22 points on 8 goals and 6 assists. Rebelatto had 55 shots, with 25 on frame, for a .455 shots on goal percentage. He was second on the team in game-winning goals with 4, while playing 1177 minutes.
