Chicago, Ill. - In their final tune-up before the Liberal Arts Conference Championships February 12th-15th, the Illinois Tech swimming and diving team honored their departing seniors and graduate students prior to their home dual meet against Lake Forest College on Saturday at Ekco Pool.
The Scarlet Hawks suffered a heart-breaking loss on the men's side, falling to the Foresters 100-99 after the Foresters came from behind to win the final event of the day, the men's 200-yard freestyle relay by the slimmest of margins, 1:26.66 to Illinois Tech's 1:26.70. On the women's side, the Foresters defeated the Scarlet Hawks 126-51.
But the final results took a back seat to the senior day festivities, as seniors

Stephanie Ticen,
Claire van Biljon,
Cole Kincart,
River Maners,
Griffin Colomer,
David Halmy, along with graduate students
