Men's Volleyball Sweeps Olivet To Earn Tri-Match Split

Olivet, Mich. - After dropping their opening match in five sets to Calvin to begin their day in the Olivet tri-match, the Illinois Tech men's volleyball team rebounded with a convincing 3-0 sweep of host Olivet to earn a split Saturday in Michigan. The Hawks had an opportunity to take both matches in their trip to Olivet, but after jumping out to a 2-1 lead in the opening match against the Knights, Calvin came back to win the next two sets to take the match 3-2. For Illinois Tech, it was their seventh five-set match of the season out of 14 total matches played.

Still, the Scarlet Hawks closed out the day with the 3-0 win over the host Comets to go even on the day.
