Naperville, ILL In a high-scoring affair on a cold windy night at Zimmerman Stadium, Illinois Tech (5-9) started strong but ultimately fell to North Central (4-11) by a final score of 21-8. The Scarlet Hawks built an early lead before North Central's offense erupted in the fourth inning. Despite the loss, Illinois Tech showed promise at the plate and on the bases, setting the tone in the early innings.

Illinois Tech wasted no time getting on the board, striking for three runs in the first inning.
Jack Friar led off with a single and came around to score on a series of wild pitches.
Tyler Gutsfeld followed with a triple to bring in another run, and
