Chicago, Ill. — Illinois Tech Women's Tennis (10-9) defeated Concordia University Wisconsin (7-15) with a 4-0 victory in the NACC Women's Tennis Semifinal at XS Tennis Center on Thursday. Illinois Tech secured the win by sweeping the singles matches and capturing the doubles point with wins at the No. 1 and No. 3 positions.
The number 1-seed Scarlet Hawks advance to the NACC Women's Tennis Championship this Sunday, when they'll take on number 3-seed Edgewood, who upset #2 seed St. Norbert on Thursday, also by a score of 4-0. The winner receives the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Women's Tennis Championship tournament.
