- Earned Scarlet Hawk of the Week honors for the week of January 26th: secured two first-place finishes in the Scarlet Hawks dual meet at Lake Forest College on Saturday, winning the men's 200 SC meter IM and the men's 100 SC meter breaststroke. Liew set the Lake Forest pool record in the men's 100 SC breaststroke event with a time of 1:04.05.
- Earned Scarlet Hawk of the Week honors for the week of October 6th: started his collegiate swimming career by posting two individual first-place finishes and a first-place relay team finish in all three of the events he competed in for the Scarlet Hawks dual meet at University of Wisconsin-Whitewater this past Saturday. Liew started out the day as the 2nd leg of the Scarlet Hawks winning 400-yard medley relay team (team time 3:35.22). He followed that up with a first-place finish in the 200-yard IM event with a time of 2:00.98. Liew capped off his day with another first-place finish, this time in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 52.29. Liew's performance helped the men's team claim a 143-128 victory over the Warhawks.
- Freshman who competed in 11 meets, swimming IM, breaststroke and butterfly events while making 11 relay appearances.
- Won 3 events Oct. 11, placing 1st in the 200-yard individual medley (2:00.98) and 100-yard butterfly (52.29) and swimming on the winning 200-yard medley relay (3:35.22).
- Placed top 3 in 3 events Oct. 25 vs. University of Chicago, taking 2nd in the 200-yard breaststroke (1:34.54) and 200-yard individual medley (1:29.53) and 3rd in the 100-yard breaststroke (58.61).
- Won 2 events Nov. 8 vs. Carroll University, finishing 1st in the 400-yard individual medley (3:46.18, Final) and on the 200-meter medley relay (1:42.35).
- Swept 4 events Jan. 17 vs. Carthage College, winning the 100-yard breaststroke (57.14), 200-yard breaststroke (2:10.20) and 400-yard individual medley (4:15.88) and swimming on the winning 200-yard medley relay (1:34.90).
- Turned in multiple top-3 finishes at the Liberal Arts Conference Championships (Feb. 12-14), including 2nd in the 400-yard individual medley (4:02.99, Final) and 200-yard breaststroke (2:01.96, Final), 3rd in the 100-yard breaststroke (56.91, Finals), and 2nd-place relay swims in the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:24.51), 400-yard medley relay (3:23.02), 200-yard medley relay (1:33.28) and 400-yard freestyle relay (3:05.10).
