Dr Farshad Ghanei is a faculty member in the department of Computer Science at Illinois Tech, interested in hardware systems, and robotics. Outside of his academic life, he is a 3rd degree Black Belt in Nearu Martial Art, and has been teaching Nearu since 2012. During this time, he has taught forms, self defense, and breathing lessons to nearly 200 students.
