Loves Park, Ill. - With the regular season conference championship and tournament number one seed already locked up, the Illinois Tech women's soccer team traveled to take on Rockford Thursday evening to close out the regular season. As they have throughout the conference season, the Scarlet Hawks dominated play from the start, defeating the Regents 5-0.
The Scarlet Hawks finished the regular season 13-0 in Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) play, the first undefeated season in the NACC since Dominican went 11-0 in the 2018 season. The Hawks are 17-2-1 overall. The Regents conclude their 2023 campaign with a 1-12 record in the NACC and 4-13 overall.
The Scarlet Hawks will now turn their attention to the conference postseason tournament, starting this Sunday.

The Scarlet Hawks opened the scoring In the ninth minute off a corner kick. From the right-side corner, the Lucy Jorjorian kick went high to the back post, and Allison Murray was there to head it in for her seventh goal of the season and a 1-0 Scarlet Hawks lead.

The Scarlet Hawks tacked on another goal in the 34th minute. Caitie Chismarich fielded a pass down the right side and passed to her left to Kaitlyn Walsh, who tapped it into the center of the net for her ninth goal of the season, and a 2-0 Hawks lead.

In the 39th minute, a feed from Wiktoria Ucher was sent to Sofia Rodriguez-Magid in the right-corner. Rodriguez-Magid sent a ball high towards the net that angled towards the back post and in for her third goal of the year, extending the Scarlet Hawks lead to 3-0.

Illinois Tech got back on the board in the 62nd minute. Kenzie Tokuchi took a pass on the left side and cut parallel to the top of the penalty area, where she fired a shot into the upper-right corner for her third goal of the season, and a 4-0 Illinois Tech lead.

With 1:26 remaining in the match, the Scarlet Hawks closed out the scoring. A corner kick from the left corner by Ally Sanchez was tapped to Juliana Moore. From the left side, Moore fired a left-footer into the right corner for her first goal of the season, capping the scoring at 5-0.
