Madison, Wis. - Women's tennis was looking for an opportunity to improve their conference standing Sunday morning at Edgewood, but the host Eagles had other ideas, as they blanked the Scarlet Hawks 9-0. With the loss, the Scarlet Hawks fell to 3-4 in Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) play, and 3-6 overall. The Eagles improved to 7-1 in NACC play, and 7-3 overall.

Best Performances

• Sofia Zaballa Martinez had the best showing in singles play, winning 5 total sets.
• Ashley Dame and Maria Moran Miranda each won 3 sets in their singles matches.
• First-year Paige Geiger took two total sets in singles play.
