Head Coach Mark Johnston's Comments
"It's always nice to get a win in the NACC. Nine players were able to contribute kills for us today and three of them hit .385 or higher. Alverno was tough throughout the whole match but we were able to finish strong in the third set. Maria Fernanda Alcantra came on and really provided a spark for us, with 4 kills on 8 attempts for a .500 hitter percentage (in just the third set). We also did a solid job at the service line, recording 16 aces. Sasami Cavan and Kelsey Starnes both tied with 6 aces this afternoon."

Up Next
The Hawks will continue in NACC action on Tuesday, September 26, when they welcome the Edgewood College Eagles (8-4, 2-0) to the Keating Sports Center. First serve is scheduled for 7:00 PM
