Gabrielle West assisted the play when she sent an airborne cross into the center of the box, right on top of the 6-yard box. The ball would then bounce right into the path of of Walsh who was able to get her right foot on the ball and send it underneath the diving Cougar goalkeeper and into the back of the net.

For the third and final goal of the contest, Wiktoria Ucher found the back of the net off a Sophia Arntz assist. The 89th minute goal came as Arntz received the ball and took off dribbling inside the box.
