Mequon, Wis. – Entering the match as the final two unbeaten teams in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) the Illinois Tech Scarlet Hawks women's soccer team took on the Concordia University Wisconsin Falcons (CUW) in a Saturday afternoon game up north. With both teams entering the contest looking to remain undefeated, both teams would achieve their goal, but not in the way they wanted. The Hawks (7-2-1, 4-0-1) scored first in the contest in the 9th minute. As the game seemed like it was going to go in favor of the Hawks, the Falcons (7-3-1, 5-0-1) slotted one in in the 76th minute, tying the match. Although the Hawks continued to take shot opportunities, no more goals would be recorded as the game ended in a 1-1 draw.
