Chicago, Ill. – Entering the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Women's Soccer Tournament as the No. 1 seed for the second year in a row, the Illinois Tech Scarlet Hawks welcomed the No. 8 seeded Wisconsin Lutheran College Warriors to Stuart Field for the opening round, quarterfinal match of the 2024 tournament on Saturday, November 2nd. After meeting just one week ago, the Hawks were able to pull off a repeat, once again defeating the Warriors 9-0. Eight different Hawks found the back of the net, with center defender Gabriella Baltes scoring a brace off two headers from corner kicks, her first career brace. With the win, the Hawks improved their overall record to 16-2-2 while the Warriors finished their season with a 7-7-4 overall record.

Moving on to the NACC Women's Soccer Tournament Semifinals, the No. 1 Hawks will host the No. 5 St. Norbert College Green Knights on Tuesday, November 5th at 7:00 PM.
On Saturday, the Green Knights defeated Concordia University Wisconsin in a penalty kick shoot-out 5-4 after ending regulation and overtime tied 1-1.
The Hawks and Green Knights met earlier this season on October 19th in De Pere, Wis. The Hawks were able to come home from the match with a 4-0 victory. Goals were scored by Caitie Chismarich, Eva Narvarte, Avery Sealey, and Joanne Porter.
