Chicago, Ill. – Beginning a four game away streak, the Illinois Tech Scarlet Hawks women's soccer team stayed in the Chicago area as they took on the North Park University Vikings in a non-conference contest Wednesday night. Out-shooting their opponent 21-7, the Hawks (3-1) defeated the Vikings (2-3) by a final score of 3-1, earning their third straight win of the season.
HOW IT HAPPENED

Coming out of halftime with a 1-0 lead, the Hawks came out firing, scoring back-to-back goals. Caitie Chismarich scored off an Allison Murray assist in the 48th minute to make the score 2-0 before Lucy Jorjorian found the back of the net in the 51st minute to put the Hawks ahead 3-0.
