De Pere, Wis. – Coming off back-to-back conference victories, the Illinois Tech Scarlet Hawks women's basketball team faced the tough task of taking on the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) undefeated St. Norbert College Green Knights. The January 25th conference contest proved to be too much for the Hawks (7-10, 3-5). Following a strong first quarter by the Green Knights (13-3, 8-0), the Hawks were unable to make up any ground. The Green Knights went on to claim an 85-54 victory over the Hawks.
Berit Rusing and Julia Bucci tied for the lead in points with 11 each. Rusing finished with four rebounds, five assists, and one steal while Bucci finished with one rebound and two steals. Chloe Churilla tallied 10 rebounds.
Taylor Thiry led the Green Knights with 22 points, seven rebounds, and four steals. Thiry also added three assists.

The Hawks will be back on the road in Wisconsin on Wednesday, January 29th, when they head to Mequon to take on the Concordia University Wisconsin Falcons. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 PM.
