Chicago, Ill. – On Wednesday, February 5th the Illinois Tech men's basketball team hosted the Aurora University Spartans inside the Keating Sports Center for a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) game. The Hawks immediately started the contest with a Jace Gooley 3-pointer and would go on to have an early 6-4 after a Zachary Yujnovich three with 18:25 on the clock. The Spartans quickly answered with a layup at 18:04 to tie the game. Following a brief scoreless streak, the Spartans jumped ahead at 16:39 and never looked bad. Leading for the rest of the contest, the Spartans (9-11, 7-6) went on to defeat the Hawks (3-17, 2-11) 96-54.
Dario Biaggi led the Hawks with eight points while picking up three rebounds, two assists, and one block.
Dwayne Jervier Jr. led the Spartans with 19 points, nine rebounds, and two blocks while adding one assist.

The Hawks will be on the road on Saturday, February 8th when they travel to Fond du Lac, WI. to take on the Marian University Spartans in a 1:00 PM contest.
