Chicago, Ill — Illinois Tech Women's Soccer secured a decisive 4-0 victory over Elmhurst on Saturday at Stuart Field. The home team dominated with 18 shots, 10 of which were on goal, while maintaining a clean sheet with the help of one save. Key moments included Illinois Tech's first-half performance, where they scored two goals and kept the pressure on with 11 shots. Elmhurst managed only four shots throughout the match.
Illinois Tech established control early in the first half against Elmhurst, with
Kelly Hitchcock scoring the opening goal at the 11:44 mark in her return to the pitch, assisted by
Tvesa Vathulya. Elmhurst's goalkeeper, Erin Fitzharris, was kept busy, saving multiple shots, including attempts from Hitchcock and
