How It Happened
The Scarlet Hawks created the first attacking sequence, with

Tvesa Vathulya adding a shot at 1:03 and a corner following at 1:08 before Calvin's Nora Kucinski hit the woodwork at 2:23. Aubree Lee kept the Scarlet Hawks off the board with saves on two Narvarte shots and another from Vathulya, and Calvin broke through at 27:00 when Ellery Boeving scored from Lexi Glowicki to make it 1-0. The Scarlet Hawks continued to get looks through
Leena Almeqbeli,
Emma Conway and
Olivia Roy, but Lee saved the latter two attempts before Maya Thebeau scored off Alexa Boersma's assist at 36:52.
