Milwaukee, Wis. - Tanay Sharma of Illinois Tech Men's Tennis earned Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Student-Athlete of the Week honors for Men's Tennis for his performance for the Scarlet Hawks this past week.

Sharma, a first-year computing major from Ahmedabad, India, went 4-0 on the week for the Scarlet Hawks in their matches against Carroll University on Friday and Hope College on Saturday. On Friday, Sharma won his #2 singles match 3-6,6-0,1-0(10-5), and his #1 doubles match with partner Alexander Feher 7-5. Sharma followed that up with a 6-2, 6-1 #2 singles win and a 7-6 #1 doubles win with Feher on Saturday. Sharma is 3-1 on the season in #2 singles and 4-1 in #1 doubles play.
