ORLANDO, Fla. — The Illinois Tech Women's Tennis team faced a tough match against UW-La Crosse at the USTA National Campus on Thursday, falling 0-7. The Scarlet Hawks conclude their Florida trip 0-4 against some tough competition, including the Eagles.
Illinois Tech stands with an overall record of 8-7, while UW-La Crosse boasts a 13-1 record.

UW-La Crosse took control early by claiming victory in all six singles matches, which were played first in this match. At No. 1 singles, Kalinowska was overcome by Roth, 6-2, 6-3. Dumangane faced a strong challenge at No. 2 singles, losing to Lauren Lindow 6-0, 6-1. Salcedo went down 6-0, 6-2 against Jorgenson at No. 3 singles. Maia Samuelson sealed the win for the Eagles at No. 4 singles, defeating Lecuona Ramos 6-1, 6-0. Kappel continued the streak at No. 5 singles, with Geiger falling 6-2, 6-0. At No. 6 singles, Conwell was outmatched by Laura Burger, 6-2, 6-2.
The Eagles carried their momentum into the doubles matches. At No. 1 doubles,
Martyna Kalinowska and
