Milwaukee, Wis. - Tanay Sharma of Illinois Tech Men's Tennis earned Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Student-Athlete of the Week honors for Men's Tennis for his performance for the Scarlet Hawks this past week.

Sharma, a first-year computing major from Ahmedabad, India, went 4-1 in the Scarlet Hawks 3 matches on their Florida trip last week, a trip in which the Hawks went a perfect 3-0. He went 1-1 in #1 singles, with a 7-5, 6-3 win over UofMary Hardin-Baylor. He went 3-0 in #1 doubles play with partner Alexander Feher, with wins over Mary Hardin-Baylor, Scranton, and UW-La Crosse.
