Milwaukee, Wis. - Alexander Feher of Illinois Tech Men's Tennis earned Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Student-Athlete of the Week honors for Men's Tennis for his performance for the Scarlet Hawks last week.
Feher, the sophomore Aerospace Engineering major from Budapest, Hungary, had a 4-0 week for the Scarlet Hawks, as the squad won both of their weekend conferences matches with 7-0 sweeps at home against Edgewood on Saturday and Sunday at Wisconsin Lutheran. Feher and #1 doubles partner
Tanay Sharma defeated the Eagles' Ryan Broadbridge and Andrew Hoffman 6-2 on Saturday. Feher followed that up with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Hoffman in the number 3 singles match. On Sunday, Feher and Sharma downed the Warriors #1 doubles team of Connor Heezen and Cameron Borchert 6-1. Feher closed out his perfect weekend with a 6-1, 6-1 win in the number 2 singles match against Borchert. Feher has gone 12-2 in #1 doubles play this season with Sharma.Â
