Five Scarlet Hawks Named NACC Men's Tennis All-Conference

Milwaukee, Wis. - Illinois Tech men's tennis earned five selections to the 2026 NACC Men's Tennis All-Conference team, the conference announced on Thursday, April 29th, with Tanay Sharma, Pedro Caro-Accino Roca, Alexander Feher, Pol Dueso Guell and Hozumi Tada each earning All-NACC selections, and Sharma taking home player of the year and freshman of the year honors.

Sharma
was named the NACC Men's Tennis Player of the Year and Freshman of Year, and was named All-NACC for both singles and doubles. Sharma, a freshman Computing major from Ahmedabad, India, is 11-2 overall in no.1/no. 2 singles play, including a 5-0 record in conference. In doubles play, Sharma is 13-3 overall, with a 4-1 record in NACC no. 1 doubles competition with doubles partner Alexander Feher.

Pedro Roca all-conference hs 2026
Caro-Accino Roca was named All-NACC for both singles and doubles. For Caro-Accino Roca, a senior Finance major from Las Palmas de Gran Cañaría, Spain, this was his 2nd consecutive All-NACC selection in 2 years played. Caro-Accino Roca is 11-6 overall between no. 1 and no. 2 singles competition, including 5-1 record in NACC play. In doubles play, primarily at no. 2 doubles with doubles partner Hozumi Tada, Caro-Accino Roca is 8-6 overall, including 4-0 in NACC doubles.

Alexander Feher all-conference hs 2026
Feher was named All-NACC for both singles and doubles. For Feher, a sophomore Aerospace Engineering major from Budapest, Hungary, this was his 2nd consecutive All-NACC selection in 2 seasons played. Feher is 7-8 overall in no. 3 singles competition, going 5-1 in NACC play, including winning his last 5 conference matches. In doubles play, primarily with Tanay Sharma in the no. 1 doubles position, Feher is 13-4 overall with a 4-2 NACC record.

Pol Dueso Guell all-conference hs 2026
Dueso Guell was named All-NACC for singles. Dueso Guell, a junior Aerospace Engineering major from Barcelona, Spain, has been an All-NACC selection all 3 years of his playing career. Dueso Guell is 13-4 overall, primarily from the no. 4 singles position, including winning his last 11 consecutive singles matches, going 6-0 in NACC play in the process.

Hozumi Tada all-conference hs 2026
Tada was named All-NACC for doubles. For Tada, a sophomore Aerospace Engineering major from Sakura, Japan, this is his 2nd consecutive All-NACC selection in 2 seasons played. Tada went 6-6 overall in doubles play, primarily from the no. 2 doubles position with partner Pedro Caro-Accino Roca. Tada was 3-0 in NACC doubles play during the regular season.
