De Pere, Wis. — Women's Soccer defeated St. Norbert 5-0 on Saturday at Schneider Stadium. The Scarlet Hawks scored twice in the first half and three times in the second while holding St. Norbert without a shot. Illinois Tech has outshot their NACC opponents 45-0 over their first 2 conference games. The Scarlet Hawks are 4-3-0 overall and 2-0-0 in conference play. St. Norbert is 2-5-1 overall and 1-1-0 in conference play.

Emma Conway put a shot on frame that Leah Hess saved, and
Leena Almeqbeli scored off Conway's assist to give the Scarlet Hawks a 1-0 lead.
Tvesa Vathulya added to it at 10:10, finishing a goal assisted by Almeqbeli to make it 2-0. The middle of the half included a stretch of fouls by both teams, while the Scarlet Hawks continued to generate chances with Conway hitting the woodwork and
Olivia Roy forcing another Hess save. The Scarlet Hawks later added a corner kick and shots from Roy and
Kaitlyn Walsh, and St. Norbert was whistled offside twice as the half closed without another goal.
The Scarlet Hawks kept pressure on after halftime, getting shots from
Eva Narvarte and Conway before
Kayla Thomas had an attempt saved at 60:35 and scored off Conway's assist at 64:47 to make it 3-0. Conway assisted another goal at 71:01, when Narvarte scored to push the lead to 4-0, and Walsh added a finish from
Avery Sealey at 78:50 for a 5-0 advantage. The closing minutes included a St. Norbert yellow card at 79:51 and three St. Norbert fouls, while Sealey put one shot on frame and another high as the Scarlet Hawks finished off the 5-0 win.
