Box Score Chicago, IL – In their first of two games this weekend, Illinois Tech men's basketball never quite got going. They were outperformed by the hungry visiting Trine University in an 87-33 loss at Keating Sports Center.
Turnovers were the story of the day as Trine's constant pressure on defense caused the Hawks to turn the ball over 33 times. A bright spot came by way of FreshmanAnders Bybjerg who led the Hawks with a total of 12 points, going 3-of-5 from the three-point line.
Illinois Tech looks to bounce back against visiting Calumet College of St. Joseph on Sunday.
