How It Happened

The pass was deflected off a Hawk defender and landed straight back in the path of Moua. Moua was able to run onto the ball, which was just outside the 18-yard box, and take a settling touch before ripping a ground shot into the lower right corner to put the Falcons up 1-0.

Just five minutes later, the Falcons doubled their lead over the Hawks. After earning a free kick just outside the 18-yard box on the left corner, Manuel Brito stepped up to take the kick. Brito's kick, which was a slow bouncer, found its way into the back of the net after a Hawk miscommunication. In the 35th minute, the Falcons led the Hawks 2-0.

Maliwat would chest the ball before attempting a volley shot. His first initial shot would be blocked by a Falcon defender before coming right back to his feet. The game winning goal came in the 84th minute in favor of the Hawks when Sanchez slotted a left footed shot into the back of the net. Sanchez was able to capitalize on a loose air ball, chesting the ball down to bring it to his feet. Sanchez then attempted to lay the ball off, but it would deflect off a Falcon defender right back to the feet of Sanchez just inside the 18-yard box.
