Milwaukee, Wis. - In a season in which they made their third-consecutive conference post-season appearance, and advancing to the semi-final round to boot, the Illinois Tech men's soccer team achieved more success with
Mateo Secaira,
Matthew Watson and
Adrian Cogolludo being named to the
2025 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Men's Soccer All-NACC Team, with Secaira also being named the conference freshman of the year.

Secaira, a first-year forward and Mechanical Engineering major from San José, Costa Rica, was named as the NACC men's soccer Freshman of the Year, and was named as a first-team all-conference selection. This was Secaira's first all-conference selection, in his first-year season. Secaira scored 18 goals, had 5 assists for 41 points during his freshman campaign. Secaira's 18 goals on the season ties him for first in the NACC, and his 41 points ranks third in the conference. Secaira tallied 68 shots, with 36 on frame for a .529 shots on goal percentage, playing in all 20 games and logging 1,470 minutes played. Secaira also had 5 game-winning goals, ranking first on the team and second in the NACC. Secaira was also named to the 2025 NACC Men's Soccer All-Tournament team.
Watson, a senior defender and Computer Science major from Plainfield, Illinois, was named as an honorable mention all-conference selection. This was Watson's first all-conference honor. Watson played in 14 matches on the season, logging 1099 minutes. Watson played the full 90 minutes in 8 of his 14 matches. Watson helped lead a defense that held opponents to a 1.75 goals against average and 12.9 shots against average on the season. But Watson's impact on the defense was most apparent in the six games he missed due to injury. In those games, the team allowed an average of 2.16 goals per game and 15.66 shots per game. In the 14 games Watson played, the team allowed 1.57 goals per game and 11.71 shots per game.
Cogolludo, a sophomore midfielder and Mechanical Engineering major from Zaragoza, Spain, was named as an honorable mention all-conference selection. This was Cogolludo's first all-conference honor. Cogolludo played in 18 of 20 matches, logging 1548 minutes, third most on the team. Cogolludo played the full 90 minutes plus in 12 of his 18 games, and his 86 minutes played per game average was second on the team. Cogolludo recorded a career-high 17 shots and 8 shots on goal for a .471 shots on goal average for the 2025 season. He recorded his first career collegiate goal in the Scarlet Hawks regular season finale at Concordia Wisconsin on October 22nd.
