Milwaukee, Wis. - A season that saw the Illinois Tech women's tennis team win the regular season conference title paid off for the Scarlet Hawks in the form of four players being named to the
2025 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Women's Tennis All-Conference team.
Named to the 2025 Women's Tennis All-NACC team were
Martyna Kalinowska,
Maddalena Elisa Rosati Dumangane,
Thea Salcedo and
Maia Lecuona Ramos.
Kalinowska, a sophomore Computer Science major from Homer Glen, Illinois, was named as a Singles and Doubles All-Conference selection. This was Kalinowska's second singles all-conference honor and first doubles all-conference selection. In nine singles matches, Kalinowska went 7-2, including a 7-1 record in NACC play at the number one singles position. In doubles play, Kalinowska and number one doubles partner Salcedo went 4-5 overall, including a 4-4 record in conference play.
Rosati Dumangane, a graduate student Electrical Engineering major from Milan, Italy, was named as a Singles and Doubles All-Conference selection. This was Rosati Dumangane's first all-conference honor, in her first season of NACC competition. Rosati Dumangane went 8-1 overall in singles play, including going undefeated at 8-0 in conference play in the number two singles position. In doubles play, Rosati Dumangane and number two doubles partner Lecuona Ramos went 7-2 overall, including a 7-1 record in NACC competition.
Salcedo, a first-year Chemical Engineering major from Plainfield, Illinois, was named as a Singles and Doubles All-Conference selection. This was Salcedo's first all-conference honor, in her first season of NACC competition. In nine singles matches, Salcedo went 7-2, including a 7-1 record in NACC play at the number three singles position. In doubles play, Salcedo and number one doubles partner Kalinowska went 4-5 overall, including a 4-4 record in conference play.
Lecuona Ramos, a first-year Biomedical Engineering major from Hendaye, France, was named as a Singles and Doubles All-Conference selection. This was Salcedo's first all-conference honor, in her first season of NACC competition. Lecuona Ramos went 8-1 overall in singles play, including going undefeated at 8-0 in conference play in the number four singles position. In doubles play, Lecuona Ramos and number two doubles partner Rosati Dumangane went 7-2 overall, including a 7-1 record in NACC competition.
