Greenwood, Ind. - Seniors Julia Bucci and Allie Sillo, junior Grace Goodnough, and sophomore Berit Rusing of Illinois Tech women's basketball, and graduate student Ebone Junior of Illinois Tech men's basketball, were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) 2024-25 Women's Basketball Academic All-District® Team and to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) 2024-25 Men's Basketball Academic All-District® Team, respectively, for NCAA Division III.

The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Women's and Men's Basketball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.

To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a sophomore or higher in class level, carry a minimum 3.50 cumulative grade point average (out of a scale of 4), must compete in 90 percent of the institution's games/contests played OR must start in at least 66 percent of the institution's games/contests.

The four Illinois Tech women's basketball players were among only 34 other women's basketball players from the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) to earn Academic All-District® honors. Additionally, Illinois Tech was one of only five NACC schools to have the maximum number of four women's basketball players named to the Academic All-District® Team.

Junior was among only 12 other men's basketball players from the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) to earn Academic All-District® honors.
