Chicago, Ill. - Tyler Gutsfeld of Illinois Tech Baseball continued to receive post-season honors when he was named to the 2025 All-Region teams released separately today by the
American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings and
D3Baseball.com for NCAA Division III Baseball - Region Eight.
Gutsfeld was selected as an All-Region Second-Team honoree for Region 8 by both D3Baseball.com and the American Baseball Coaches Association, in partnership with Rawlings. This is Tyler's second-consecutive season of achieving All-Region honors through both organizations, having been named First-Team Region 8 for the 2024 season.
Gutsfeld was a first-team all-conference selection for Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference outfielders. Gutsfeld led the team in nearly every offensive category, including batting average, slugging percentage, runs scored, RBI, doubles, triples, home runs, and total bases. Gutsfeld was 2nd in the confereance in OPS at 1.133, 2nd in conference in slugging percentage at .720, and 10th in conference in batting average at .376.
