Honorable Mention recognition.
Gutsfeld, a junior center fielder and Business and Engineering major from Simsbury, Connecticut, earned First Team All-Conference honors after a standout season at the plate. Gutsfeld posted a team-leading .376 batting average and a 1.140 OPS over 31 games (30 starts). He collected 47 hits in 125 at-bats, including 7 doubles, 3 triples, and 10 home runs, while driving in 32 runs and scoring 29. His .720 slugging percentage led the team and ranked 2
nd in the conference overall. Gutsfeld also swiped 12 bases in 13 attempts while also anchoring the Scarlet Hawks' defense in the outfield.
Paxson, a senior first baseman and Aerospace Engineering major from Simi Valley, California was named Honorable Mention All-Conference following a consistent and impactful season. Paxson started 36 games and appeared in 37 overall, batting .362 with a 1.015 OPS. He tallied 50 hits in 138 at-bats, including 7 doubles, 1 triple, and 7 home runs, while driving in 19 runs and scoring 22. He posted a .580 slugging percentage and a .435 on-base percentage, and he recorded 11 stolen bases in 13 attempts. Paxson collected his 200
th hit of his career with a homerun at Rate field on April 21

Together, Gutsfeld and Paxson played pivotal roles in Illinois Tech's 2025 campaign, providing significant offensive production that earned them well-deserved recognition among the NACC's best.
