Greenwood, Ind. - Juniors Toni Martinez and Iona Pettigrew and sophomore Izzy Niebler of Illinois Tech women's lacrosse, and sophomore Owen Silverman of Illinois Tech men's lacrosse were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) 2025 Women's and Men's Lacrosse Academic All-District® Teams for NCAA Division III.

The 2025 Academic All-District® Women's and Men's Lacrosse Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.

To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a sophomore or higher in class level, carry a minimum 3.50 cumulative grade point average (out of a scale of 4), and must compete in 90 percent of the institution's games played OR must start in at least 66 percent of the institution's games.

Martinez, Niebler and Pettigrew were 1, 2 and 3 in scoring, respectively, for the women's lacrosse team this past season, while Silverman recovered 19 ground balls and caused 10 turnovers from his defensive post for the men's lacrosse team.
