Lexington, Ky. - Illinois Tech women's volleyball joined a record number of collegiate and high school volleyball programs to earn American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic honors for the 2024-25 season.

To be eligible for the award, programs must maintain a year-long grade-point average of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale (or 4.1 on a 5.0 scale), to earn the award for their classroom excellence during the recently completed academic year.

This is the fourth consecutive year that Illinois Tech women's volleyball has achieved this honor.

The award, sponsored by Intent, recognizes team academic achievements from high school girls and boys and collegiate women's and men's volleyball programs from across the country. Per the AVCA, more than 1,450 programs were recognized for the recently completed academic year.
