Chicago, Ill. - High jumper
Olivia Jameson of track and field, Illinois Tech's most decorated athlete in terms of NCAA Championship appearances, is set to make her sixth nationals appearance this Friday when she competes in the 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
For Jameson, a senior Architecture major from Cloquet, Minnesota, this is her fourth-consecutive NCAA Outdoor Championships appearance, qualifying each of her four years. Jameson also qualified in the high jump in the indoor championships her sophomore and junior seasons.
Jameson's leap of 1.68 meters at the Augustana College Penultimate Qualifier meet in Rock Island, Illinois, on May 9th locked Jameson's entry into this year's outdoor national championship. The top 22 performers nationally at the Division III level at their respective events qualify for the national championships.
Jameson was the top performer in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conferendce (NACC) in the women's high jump event, and was a two-time NACC Track & Field - Field Category Student-Athlete of the Week recipient for the outdoor track & field season.
The women's high jump event is tentatively scheduled for 2:00pm CT on Friday, May 22nd.
