Warrenville, Ill. — Sometimes in cross country, the weather dictates when you are going to compete. Friday was one of those cases for Illinois Tech Cross Country, as the Scarlet Hawks competed in the Wheaton College Gil Dodds Invitational one day earlier than originally scheduled. In the race, Clara Pargett placed 122nd in the women's 6k in 27:31.50, while Benjamin Gaeta placed 151st in 29:40.80 in the men's 8k to lead Illinois Tech's individual results.

The meet was moved to Friday due to the heavy rain storms predicted in the Chicago area on Saturday, the original date of the event.
