WATERTOWN, Wis.- The Illinois Institute of Technology men's soccer (5-6-1) team competed in Wisconsin at Maranatha Baptist University on Saturday afternoon, falling to the Sabercats 2-1.

• Tech struck first in the match, as Noah Griffith notched his seventh goal on the season in the 10th minute.
• Maranatha scored in the 35th minute to tie the score at 1-1 as Caleb Walters just cleared the head of keeper Christopher Beluska.
• Tim Rogers scored for the Sabercats in the 42nd minute to take a 2-1 lead.

• Griffith scored on a team-high seven shots.
• Diego Gutierrez Coronel added four shots of his own.
• Sergio Calvo de Leon and Gustavo Gonzalez each tallied three shots.

• Rogers led with five shots.

• Tech outshot MBU 21-12 for the match.
• The Scarlet Hawks committed 19 fouls compared to 12 for Maranatha.

• Men's Soccer hosts Lake Forest College at 7:30 p.m. on Friday at Stuart Field.
