On Friday, October 13, the Illinois Tech men's soccer team was awarded the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2022-23 season. 

To be eligible for the award, a team "must have a composite team grade point average of at least 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) for all team members who appear on the official NCAA for the fall season"
